I’ve made it final: As of March 4th, 2009, the website Anime Reviews will cease to exist.

I wish everyone will read The Goodbye Letter posted in the Blog to understand a bit better why I've ended up with this decision. I've also closed the Forum already, so no need to go there. Thanks!

January 25th, 2008 - Lasak

I've thought of adding a new section to the Columns And Interviews page, where every week/month we'd publish a visiting writer's column or an essay on his or her choice of topic. Of course, no objectionable material will be published, so keep that in mind. I'll check every possible entry myself before it's published.

If you're interested in getting your work published on the website, please e-mail (click Contact Us) me your piece, and I'll judge which one of them will be published. Based on the amount of publishable material, I'll decide what the interval will be. For now, I'll post one each month, given material is sent.

The writer will be given full credit for his or her work, and it's possible to use your full name or an alias. As said, you can write about anything, even things outside of Anime and its related topics - taken it's clean, non-objectionable and well-written. There are no requirements on the writer, as long as the piece is original. Our Terms & Conditions apply to all applied pieces, so please read through them before submitting your piece.

The website was offline completely today for a short period, which was due to maintenance by our hosting service. I apologize for the disruption, but it was out of my hands. All functions should work just fine now.

Hello readers! Just decided to drop a note here on the main website. We're still very active, but not everything has been noted here in the News section. Remember to check the Blog for more frequent updates by yours truly, which are added quite often.

Please also Register into the Forum and keep active! I want some serious users here to help bring the Community up and keep it alive and well for as long as we can! Active users will be rewarded in due time, with special content and functions others who're less active cannot! These'll be determined once we've established a core nucleus of users within the Forum. Registering to the Blog is also highly recommended, as then you can give direct feedback about the things I write in there.

As the year draws ever closer to its end, we here at Anime Reviews decided to get to know our users a bit more and started up our Anime Reviews' User Survey '08 (Survey concluded as of December 31st).
